grandchildren,
Richard M. Crutchfield, Mark A. Crutchfield, both of Tyler; David Pope of
Tyler; Gina K. Gross of Orange, TX, Kassandra K.

and John T. Covington both of Houston. He had great-grandchildren, Marissa
Rodriguez and Jesse Ryan Comacho both of
Orange, TX
and Kayla Pope of Dallas.

Aug 1944 & served in the U.S. Army as Quartermaster during World War II. He
spent his service at Fort Sam Houston, TX, Ft
Leonard
Wood, Missouri, and overseas in the Pacific Theatre including Okinawa and
Korea.
John was a
man of many talents. He was a farmer, soldier, carpenter, and a master
mechanic. To his children he was a caring, generous
and loving
