Off Route 55, north west of Steele & north east of Rives, Elevation: 257 feet. An unincorporated community situated in Virginia Township in Pemiscot County, Missouri

 

COVINGTON LAKE, MISSOURI

History:

A post office called Covington was established in 1877, and remained in operation until 1912. The community was named after the original owner of the site.

 

The township of Virginia had a total population of 441 living in 225 homes as at June 2020
