There is confusion in records between this, Ebenezer Marshall and a Marshall Covington (12219) who was born in 1800 in Americus,

Sumter Co GA. In that time it would be unlikely for whole families to migrate from Georgia to Maryland, or vice versa. Much of the confusion

is based on some of the Georgia family using the Ebenezer name for their offspring and lack of proof found for marriages for both Ebenezer
