be in the Longview Cemetery. R.K. Lindsey Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include his wife, Sandra Covington; one son, Jeffrey Nichols; three stepdaughters, Sherry Derrick and her husband, Jeff, of

Booneville, Michelle Thomas of Cadiz, Ohio, and Holly Hood and her husband, Charlie, of Iuka; three sisters, Creola Perko of Lansing,

Ohio, Velma P. Howes of Scio, Ohio and Rosalene Shane of Martins Ferry, Ohio; five stepgrandchildren, Scottie, B.J., Ashleigh, Nicki and

Morgan; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Wilma M. Timmerman Covington who died Sept. 3, 1988; his parents; and five brothers, Burton,

Ivan, Raymond, Claude and Olean Covington.
